Fajr Sleep Schedule Guide
A Fajr-aware schedule works best when it treats prayer time as a fixed anchor and places sleep cycles around it. The goal is not perfection; it is reducing grogginess and making the routine repeatable.
Pattern 1: sleep early, stay awake
If Fajr is around 5:00 AM, sleeping around 8:45 to 10:15 PM gives many adults 5 to 6 cycles before prayer. This is the cleanest pattern for students and office workers who can protect an early bedtime.
Pattern 2: return for one cycle
If your night was short, a planned 90-minute block after Fajr can help. Keep it planned and bounded, otherwise it can push the next bedtime too late.
Pattern 3: split sleep
Some people prefer a shorter first block, prayer, and a second sleep block. This can work for flexible schedules, but it is harder to maintain if school or work starts early.
