When to see a doctor — red flags
- Fever above 39°C (102.2°F) lasting more than 3 days
- Fever in infants under 3 months of any temperature
- Stiff neck, severe headache, or rash with fever
- Confusion, seizure, or breathing difficulty
- Recent travel to a malaria/dengue area
