1. About PakVita

PakVita ("the Platform", "we", "us", "our") is operated by PakVita, a health-technology company registered and operating in Islamabad, Pakistan. The platform provides:

• A free online medicine encyclopedia with information on DRAP-registered medicines
• An online pharmacy for the purchase of genuine medicines, supplements, and medical devices
• Health and wellness content for educational purposes

2. Eligibility & Account Registration

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and place orders on PakVita. By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

PakVita reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that provides false information, engages in fraudulent activity, or violates these Terms.

4. Ordering & Online Pharmacy

4.1 Order Acceptance

Placing an order on PakVita constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept, modify, or decline any order — for example, if a product is out of stock, if we suspect fraud, or if a prescription medicine is ordered without a valid prescription.

4.2 Prescription Medicines

Prescription-only medicines (Rx) may only be dispensed upon receipt and verification of a valid prescription issued by a registered medical practitioner in Pakistan. Uploading a false, altered, or expired prescription is a violation of these Terms and may result in immediate account suspension and referral to regulatory authorities.

4.3 Pricing

All prices on PakVita are displayed in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change without notice. The price displayed at the time of checkout is the price you will be charged.

4.4 Payment

We accept Cash on Delivery (COD), bank transfer, and mobile wallets (Easypaisa, JazzCash). Prepaid orders receive an additional 5% discount. All online payments are processed through a PCI-compliant gateway; PakVita does not store credit or debit card information.

4.5 Delivery

Standard nationwide delivery takes 2–5 working days. Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to courier delays, location constraints, or public holidays. Free delivery is available on orders above PKR 1,000.

5. Returns, Replacements & Refunds

We accept return or replacement requests within 7 days of delivery for the following reasons:

• Damaged or broken product received
• Wrong item delivered
• Expired product delivered
• Sealed packaging tampered with

Returns are not accepted for opened medicines, items without original packaging, or products that have been used. To initiate a return, message us on Instagram @pakvitaofficial within 7 days with your order number and photo evidence of the issue.

Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days via the original payment method or bank transfer.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on PakVita — including medicine profiles, articles, images, logos, and user interface design — is the intellectual property of PakVita or its content partners and is protected under Pakistani copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content from PakVita without prior written permission.

You may share individual medicine information pages for personal, non-commercial, or educational purposes, provided you clearly attribute PakVita and include a link to the original page.

7. Acceptable Use

By using PakVita, you agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Pakistani law
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information (including fake prescriptions)
• Attempt to access restricted areas of the website or tamper with its functionality
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from PakVita without written permission
• Post harmful, defamatory, or abusive content in reviews or messages
• Impersonate any individual, healthcare professional, or PakVita staff member

8. Affiliate Links & Third-Party Services

Some pages on PakVita contain affiliate links to third-party pharmacies or retailers. PakVita may earn a commission if you purchase through these links. Affiliate relationships do not influence our editorial content or medicine information. PakVita is not responsible for the products, pricing, or policies of third-party websites.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Pakistani law, PakVita and its directors, employees, and partners shall not be liable for:

• Any health outcome arising from reliance on medicine information published on the platform
• Loss or damage caused by temporary unavailability of the platform
• Errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in product descriptions or prices
• Delays in delivery beyond our reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, courier failures)
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind

Our maximum liability for any claim relating to a purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order in question.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of PakVita shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Islamabad, Pakistan.

11. Changes to These Terms

PakVita reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated to registered users via email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
