PakVita (pakvita.com) is a free medicine information platform. We do not require you to create an account to read our pages, and we collect as little personal data as possible. This policy explains exactly what is collected, why, and the choices you have.
The short version
You can browse PakVita without signing up. We don't sell your data. The only information we handle is what your browser sends automatically (for analytics and security) and what you choose to send us if you contact us about a correction. We use Google Analytics and may show ads via Google AdSense, both of which use cookies — details and opt-outs are in sections 4 and 5.
1. What Information We Collect
Because PakVita is an information site and not a shop, we do not ask for names, addresses, payment details, or prescriptions to browse. We handle two narrow categories of data:
a) Information you choose to give us
- The contents of any message you send us (for example, when you report a content correction or ask a question) and the contact handle you reach us on, such as your Instagram username
- Feedback you voluntarily share about a medicine page
b) Information collected automatically
- Standard server logs — IP address, browser type, device, and operating system
- Pages you view and how you arrived at them (referrer), via analytics
- Search terms you type into our on-site medicine search
- Cookies and similar technologies set by us and by third parties (see sections 4 and 5)
2. How We Use This Information
- To serve and display our medicine information pages correctly on your device
- To understand which pages are useful so we can improve and update our content
- To respond to corrections, questions, and feedback you send us
- To keep the site secure and detect abuse or automated scraping
- To show advertising that helps keep PakVita free (see section 5)
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
3. When We Share Information
We share data only with the service providers that make the site work, and only as far as needed:
- Hosting and infrastructure providers that serve the website to you
- Analytics providers (Google Analytics) that measure anonymised, aggregated usage
- Advertising partners (Google AdSense and its certified vendors) that deliver ads
- Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information under Pakistani law
4. Cookies & Similar Technologies
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. PakVita uses:
- Essential cookies — needed for the site to load and remember basic preferences such as language (English / Urdu)
- Analytics cookies — used by Google Analytics to measure page visits in aggregate
- Advertising cookies — used by Google and its partners to deliver and measure ads (see section 5)
You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may affect how parts of the site behave.
5. Advertising & Third-Party Vendors
PakVita is supported by advertising, which lets us keep our medicine information free. We work with Google and other advertising partners:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to PakVita and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.

6. Affiliate & Third-Party Links
Some medicine pages contain "Buy Online" affiliate links to third-party pharmacies and retailers. If you follow these links, the destination website's own privacy policy applies — we do not control and are not responsible for how those sites handle your data. We may earn a small commission on qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you.
7. Data Retention
Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and analytics and are then deleted or anonymised. Messages you send us are kept only for as long as needed to handle your request. We do not maintain user accounts or long-term personal profiles.
8. Your Choices & Rights

- Opt out of personalised ads via Google Ads Settings and www.aboutads.info
- Ask us to delete any message or feedback you have sent us
- Contact us with any privacy question and we will respond within 14 business days
9. Children's Privacy
PakVita is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the latest version. Continued use of PakVita after a change means you accept the updated policy.
