About Dr. Haniya Talib

Dr. Haniya Talib is a PMDC-registered physician and dermatology resident. She is a graduate of the prestigious and historic King Edward Medical University and is currently pursuing postgraduate training in dermatology at Mayo Hospital, Lahore, one of Pakistan’s largest public-sector teaching hospitals.

She contributes to PakVita as a medical writer and reviewer, focusing on dermatology, skin health, skincare, and medicine-related content. Her work aims to ensure that health information is medically accurate, evidence-based, practical, and easy for patients to understand.

Alongside her clinical training, Dr. Haniya has experience in telemedicine, medical writing, literature review, academic presentations, and research-related work. Her dermatology training has provided her with clinical exposure to a wide range of inflammatory, infectious, pigmentary, hair and nail disorders, as well as dermatological procedures and dermatopathology.

She has also been involved in academic and creative writing, including contributions to university publications. Her combination of medical knowledge and communication skills enables her to translate complex dermatological concepts into clear, accessible health information while maintaining scientific and clinical accuracy.

Through her work with PakVita, Dr. Haniya aims to contribute to trustworthy, patient-centred medical content and help readers make informed decisions about their skin health.
