For everyday pain or inflammation, Brufen (Ibuprofen) is preferred. Disprin (Aspirin) at standard pain doses has no advantage over Ibuprofen and carries higher GI risk; its real role is low-dose (75 mg) heart protection prescribed by a cardiologist. Never use full-dose Aspirin in children.
