Both are paracetamol — the choice is about age and form. Use Calpol syrup for children with a weight-based dose. Use Panadol tablets for adults. Never mix the two without checking the total mg of paracetamol in 24 hours, and never combine with other paracetamol-containing products (e.g., Panadol CF, Hismanal).
