Burnol Cream Dosage (Kaise lagani hai)
Correct application of Burnol Cream maximises its antiseptic effectiveness and supports wound healing.
Adult Dose (Baalgon ke liye)
- Apply a thin layer to the clean, cooled affected area 2–3 times daily
- Apply at each dressing change if covering with a bandage
Child Dose (Bachon ke liye)
- Apply a thin layer carefully, avoiding the eyes and mouth
- 2 times daily or as directed by a doctor
How to Apply (Kaise lagani hai)
Step 1: Cool the burn (burns only)
- Run cool (not cold or icy) water over the burn for at least 10 minutes
Step 2: Clean the area
- Gently clean the wound with clean water and allow to dry
Step 3: Apply thin layer
- Squeeze a small amount onto a clean finger or sterile gauze and apply a thin, even layer
Step 4: Cover if needed
- Cover with a sterile, non-stick dressing or bandage
Step 5: Repeat
- Apply 2–3 times daily or at each dressing change
What NOT to Do
- Do not apply a thick layer — thin is sufficient and more comfortable
- Do not use cotton wool directly on burns — it can stick to the wound surface
- Do not apply to open blisters without medical advice
- Do not apply to eyes or inside the mouth
Missed Application
Apply at the next scheduled dressing change. Do not apply a double dose.
