Emesson Side Effects (Nuksanat)
Emesson (Ondansetron) is generally safe when taken at the correct dose. However, like all medicines, it can cause side effects in some patients, including effects on heart rhythm in certain situations.
Common Side Effects (Aam Nuksanat)
- Headache
- Constipation
- Fatigue or drowsiness
These side effects are usually mild. If they continue, inform your doctor.
Serious Side Effects (Sanjeedah Nuksanat)
- Irregular heartbeat — see a doctor immediately
- Fainting or severe dizziness — see a doctor immediately
- Signs of serotonin syndrome (agitation, high fever, muscle stiffness) — see a doctor immediately
When to See a Doctor (Kab Doctor Se Milna Zaroori Hai)
- Irregular heartbeat or palpitations
- Fainting or severe dizziness
- Signs of a severe allergic reaction (swelling of the face or throat, difficulty breathing, severe rash)
Warnings and Precautions (Ihtiyat)
- Don't use Emesson if you are allergic to Ondansetron or any ingredient
- Use with caution if you have a heart rhythm condition (Long QT Syndrome) or electrolyte imbalance, and tell your doctor about all other medicines you take, especially other QT-prolonging or serotonergic drugs
