Envir Tablet Side Effects (Nuksanat)
Envir (Entecavir) is generally well tolerated when taken at the correct dose under medical supervision. However, like all medicines, it can cause side effects in some patients, and it carries specific risks tied to how hepatitis B treatment is managed.
Common Side Effects (Aam Nuksanat)
- Headache
- Fatigue
- Nausea
These side effects are usually mild. If they continue, inform your doctor.
Serious Side Effects (Sanjeedah Nuksanat)
- Severe hepatitis B flare after stopping treatment — see a doctor immediately
- Lactic acidosis (rare but serious) — see a doctor immediately
- Worsening liver function or liver failure — see a doctor immediately
Critical Warning: Never Stop Envir Abruptly
Entecavir is used as long-term suppressive therapy for chronic hepatitis B. Stopping Envir suddenly, without your doctor's supervision, can cause a severe flare-up of hepatitis B and, in serious cases, liver failure. This is a recognized and serious risk with this class of medicine. If you experience side effects or wish to stop treatment for any reason, contact your doctor first — do not discontinue Envir on your own.
When to See a Doctor (Kab Doctor Se Milna Zaroori Hai)
- Yellowing of skin or eyes, dark urine, or severe abdominal pain
- Unusual tiredness, muscle pain, or difficulty breathing (possible signs of lactic acidosis)
- Any worsening of hepatitis B symptoms after a missed dose or stopping Envir
Warnings and Precautions (Ihtiyat)
- Don't use Envir if you are allergic to Entecavir or any ingredient
