Fenoget Side Effects (Nuksanat)
Fenoget (Fenofibrate) is generally safe when taken at the correct dose. However, like all medicines, it can cause side effects in some patients.
Common Side Effects (Aam Nuksanat)
- Upset stomach
- Headache
- Skin rash
These side effects are usually mild. If they continue, inform your doctor.
Serious Side Effects (Sanjeedah Nuksanat)
- Muscle pain or weakness (possible sign of rhabdomyolysis, especially if combined with a statin) — see a doctor immediately
- Gallstones — see a doctor immediately
- Signs of liver problems (yellowing of skin or eyes, dark urine) — see a doctor immediately
When to See a Doctor (Kab Doctor Se Milna Zaroori Hai)
- Unexplained muscle pain, tenderness, or weakness
- Yellowing of the skin or eyes, or dark urine
- Severe stomach pain, which can be a sign of gallstones or pancreatitis
Warnings and Precautions (Ihtiyat)
- Don't use Fenoget if you are allergic to Fenofibrate or any ingredient
- Use with caution and closer monitoring if you have reduced kidney function, since Fenoget requires dose care in renal impairment
