Jardy Side Effects (Nuksanat)
Jardy (Empagliflozin) is generally safe when taken at the correct dose. However, like all medicines, it can cause side effects in some patients.
Common Side Effects (Aam Nuksanat)
- Genital yeast infections
- Urinary tract infections
- Increased urination
These side effects are usually mild. If they continue, inform your doctor.
Serious Side Effects (Sanjeedah Nuksanat)
- Diabetic ketoacidosis (can occur even with normal blood sugar) — see a doctor immediately
- Dehydration and low blood pressure — see a doctor immediately
- Serious kidney problems — see a doctor immediately
When to See a Doctor (Kab Doctor Se Milna Zaroori Hai)
- Nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, or unusual tiredness even with normal blood sugar (possible diabetic ketoacidosis) — seek emergency care
- Severe dizziness, fainting, or signs of dehydration
- Pain, burning, or swelling in the genital or urinary area suggesting a serious infection

- Don't use Jardy if you are allergic to Empagliflozin or any ingredient
- Jardy may need to be paused before major surgery — discuss timing with your doctor in advance
