Primary Uses (Mukhya Istemal)
- Epilepsy — partial and generalised seizures (dora, mirgi)
- Bipolar disorder — mood stabilization, especially depressive episodes
- Lennox-Gastaut syndrome (severe childhood epilepsy)
Who Should Take It (Kin logon ke liye)
- Epilepsy patients (partial, generalised, or Lennox-Gastaut) under neurologist supervision
- Bipolar disorder patients (especially for depressive phase) under psychiatrist supervision
- Patients who can commit to slow dose titration and regular rash monitoring
When NOT to Use Lamictal Tablet (Kab nahi leni chahiye)
- If you are allergic to lamotrigine or any of its ingredients
- Without a proper titration schedule from your doctor
- Never self-adjust dose — especially when adding or removing valproate, OCP, or enzyme inducers
