Lipiget Side Effects (Nuksanat)
Lipiget (Atorvastatin) is generally safe when taken at the correct dose. However, like all medicines, it can cause side effects in some patients.
Common Side Effects (Aam Nuksanat)
- Mild muscle aches
- Headache
- Nausea or digestive upset
These side effects are usually mild. If they continue, inform your doctor.
Serious Side Effects (Sanjeedah Nuksanat)
- Unexplained severe muscle pain, tenderness, or weakness (possible rhabdomyolysis) — see a doctor immediately
- Signs of liver problems such as yellowing of the skin or eyes, dark urine, or severe fatigue — see a doctor immediately
- Allergic reaction with swelling or difficulty breathing — see a doctor immediately
When to See a Doctor (Kab Doctor Se Milna Zaroori Hai)
- Unexplained, severe, or persistent muscle pain, tenderness, or weakness — this can be an early sign of a rare but serious muscle condition and needs urgent medical attention
- Yellowing of the skin or eyes, dark urine, or severe fatigue
- Swelling of the face or throat, or difficulty breathing
Warnings and Precautions (Ihtiyat)
- Don't use Lipiget if you are allergic to Atorvastatin or any ingredient
- Contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding — statins can harm the developing baby
