Minocycline Capsule Side Effects (Nuksanat)
Minocycline Capsule (Minocin, Minocycline) is generally safe at the correct dose. However, a distinctive feature of the tetracycline class is vestibular side effects (dizziness, vertigo) — which are more common with minocycline than with other tetracyclines.
Common Side Effects (Aam Nuksanat)
- Dizziness, vertigo and ataxia — a unique characteristic of minocycline
- Nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea
- Headache
- Photosensitivity (less than doxycycline — but always apply sunscreen)
- Skin pigmentation — bluish/grey discolouration
These side effects are generally mild or improve on reducing the dose. If they continue, inform your doctor.
