Minocycline Capsule Dosage (Kitni leni hai)
Minocycline Capsule — the correct dose is essential for safe and effective treatment. Always follow your doctor's prescription.
Adult Dose (Baalgon ke liye)
- As prescribed by your doctor — generally 50mg or 100mg capsule(s) daily
- Dose frequency is determined by your doctor
- Do not exceed the recommended limit — vestibular side effects (dizziness) are dose-related
- Do not lie down for 30 minutes after each dose
Starting Dose: As prescribed by doctor Usual Dose: 50mg or 100mg daily (as per doctor's instruction) Max Daily Dose: Do not exceed the dose prescribed by your doctor
Child Dose (Bachon ke liye)
CONTRAINDICATED in children under 8 years of age — due to permanent dental staining and bone growth effects.
In children aged 8 and above, the dose is decided by the doctor based on weight and age — do not calculate it yourself.
How to Take (Kaise leni hai)
- Take with plenty of water

With Food or Empty Stomach (Khali pait ya khane ke baad)
Minocycline is more GI-friendly than other tetracyclines — can be taken with or without food. However, always maintain a 2-hour gap from dairy, antacids, iron, and zinc.
Missed Dose (Dose chhoot jaye to kya karein)
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If the next dose is close, skip it. Never take a double dose — dizziness and vestibular side effects may worsen.
Overdose (Zyada Dose)
If more than the prescribed dose is taken, contact a doctor or the nearest emergency room immediately. Minocycline overdose can cause serious vestibular toxicity and hepatotoxicity.
