Mucosolvan Side Effects (Nuksanat)
Mucosolvan (Ambroxol Hydrochloride) is generally safe when taken at the correct dose. However, like all medicines, it can cause side effects in some patients.
Common Side Effects (Aam Nuksanat)
- Nausea
- Mild stomach upset
- Dry mouth or throat irritation

Serious Side Effects (Sanjeedah Nuksanat)
- Severe allergic reaction (swelling of face, lips, or throat) — see a doctor immediately
- Difficulty breathing — see a doctor immediately
- Unusual or severe skin rash — see a doctor immediately
Rare but serious skin reactions have been reported with ambroxol-containing medicines in some cases. If you notice any unusual, spreading, blistering, or painful skin rash while taking Mucosolvan, stop the medicine and seek medical attention promptly.

- Swelling of the face, lips, or throat
- Difficulty breathing
- Any unusual or severe skin rash
- Cough that persists beyond a week despite taking this medicine

- Don't use Mucosolvan if you are allergic to Ambroxol Hydrochloride or any ingredient
- Use with caution in patients with stomach ulcers or a history of gastric bleeding
