Polyfax Ointment Dosage (Kitni leni hai)
Correct application of Polyfax Ointment ensures effective treatment of skin infections without causing sensitisation.
Adult Dose (Baalgon ke liye)
- Apply a thin layer to the clean, affected skin area
- 2–3 times daily
- Do not apply to large body areas
Starting application: Thin layer applied 2 times daily
Usual application: Thin layer 2–3 times daily after cleaning the area
Treatment duration: 7–10 days; do not exceed 2 weeks without medical review
Child Dose (Bachon ke liye)
Same application method as adults — apply a thin layer to the affected area 2 to 3 times daily. For young infants or widespread infections in children, consult a doctor before use.
How to Apply (Kaise lagayein)
- Wash hands before and after application
- Clean the affected area gently with water and mild soap; pat dry
- Apply a thin layer of Polyfax Ointment directly to the affected area
- Cover with a clean, sterile dressing or gauze if the wound is open
- Reapply 2–3 times daily or as directed
Best Time to Apply (Kab lagayein)
- Morning and evening at minimum
- After cleaning the wound each time
- A midday application may be added if 3 applications are prescribed
With Food or Empty Stomach
Not applicable — Polyfax Ointment is a topical preparation applied to the skin.
Missed Application
Apply as soon as you remember. If nearly time for the next application, skip the missed one. Do not apply double the amount.
Overdose / Accidental Swallowing
Polyfax is for external skin use only. If accidentally swallowed, seek emergency medical help immediately.
