Refresh Eye Drops Side Effects (Nuksanat)
Refresh Eye Drops (carboxymethylcellulose sodium 0.5%) is generally very well tolerated. However, like all medicines, it can cause side effects in some patients.
Common Side Effects (Aam Nuksanat)
- Temporary blurred vision immediately after instillation
- Mild stinging or burning sensation
- Watery eyes
These side effects are usually mild and resolve within minutes. If they continue, inform your doctor.
Serious Side Effects (Sanjeedah Nuksanat)
- Severe eye pain or persistent redness — see a doctor immediately
- Worsening or sudden change in vision — see a doctor immediately
- Signs of eye infection (discharge, swelling) — see a doctor immediately
When to See a Doctor (Kab Doctor Se Milna Zaroori Hai)
- Severe eye pain that does not resolve quickly
- Any sudden change or loss of vision
- Discharge, increasing redness, or swelling suggesting infection
Warnings and Precautions (Ihtiyat)
- Do not use Refresh Eye Drops if you are allergic to carboxymethylcellulose or any ingredient
- Remove contact lenses before use; wait 15 minutes before reinserting
