Seretide Inhaler Dosage (Kitni leni hai)
Seretide Inhaler dose is always prescribed by a doctor — there is no universal fixed dose. The dose depends on the severity of asthma or COPD, age, and prior treatment. This guide provides general guidance only — it cannot replace a doctor's prescription.
Adult Dose (Baalgon ke liye)
- As prescribed — strength is determined by your doctor
- Typically twice daily — morning and evening
- Do not exceed the recommended limit
- If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If the next dose is close, skip the missed dose. Never take a double dose.
Starting Dose: As prescribed by doctor based on severity
Usual Dose: As prescribed — consistent twice-daily use for best maintenance effect
Max Daily Dose: As prescribed — do not exceed; high-dose fluticasone carries adrenal suppression risk
Child Dose (Bachon ke liye)
Weight-based and age-appropriate dose — determined by the paediatrician.
Children should only be given Seretide under paediatrician supervision. The dose varies based on age, weight, and asthma severity. Do not calculate the dose yourself.

With Food or Empty Stomach (Khali pait ya khane ke baad)
This is an inhaled medicine — there is no significant interaction with food. Before or after meals, both are fine. Important: always rinse your mouth with water after use.
Missed Dose (Dose chhoot jaye to kya karein)
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If the next dose is close, skip the missed dose and continue the normal schedule. Never take a double dose — this can increase the risk of palpitations and tremor.
Overdose (Zyada Dose)
Taking too much Seretide can cause: palpitations, tremor, headache, low blood potassium (hypokalemia), and adrenal suppression. If an overdose is suspected, contact a doctor or the nearest emergency room immediately.
