Valium Injection Side Effects (Nuksanat)
Valium Injection is generally safe at the correct dose, but side effects can occur.
Common Side Effects (Aam Nuksanat)
- Sedation / drowsiness (Gehri neend)
- Respiratory depression
- Hypotension (BP girna)
- Venous thrombophlebitis at injection site
Serious Side Effects (Sanjeedah Nuksanat)
- Severe respiratory depression and apnoea (life-threatening) — see a doctor immediately
- Cardiovascular collapse — see a doctor immediately
- Paradoxical excitation (rare in some patients) — see a doctor immediately
- Anterograde amnesia — see a doctor immediately
When to See a Doctor
- Severe allergic reaction (rash, breathing difficulty, swelling)
- If side effects last more than 2–3 days
