Vendep XR Side Effects (Nuksanat)
Vendep XR (Venlafaxine) is generally well tolerated when taken at the correct dose. However, like all medicines, it can cause side effects in some patients.
Common Side Effects (Aam Nuksanat)
- Nausea
- Dry mouth
- Sweating

Serious Side Effects (Sanjeedah Nuksanat)
- Suicidal thoughts or worsening mood — see a doctor immediately
- Increased blood pressure — see a doctor immediately
- Serotonin syndrome (agitation, rapid heartbeat, high fever) — see a doctor immediately
When to See a Doctor (Kab Doctor Se Milna Zaroori Hai)
- Thoughts of self-harm, suicide, or sudden worsening of mood or anxiety
- Signs of serotonin syndrome such as agitation, rapid heartbeat, high fever, or muscle stiffness
- Severe or persistent rise in blood pressure, chest pain, or severe headache
- Dizziness, electric-shock sensations, nausea, or irritability after stopping the medicine
Warnings and Precautions (Ihtiyat)
- Don't use Vendep XR if you are allergic to venlafaxine or any ingredient
- Never stop this medicine suddenly; venlafaxine is known to cause discontinuation symptoms, so any change must be tapered under a doctor's guidance
- Blood pressure should be monitored regularly, since venlafaxine can raise it, especially at higher doses
