Qailula Nap Guide

Qailula is commonly understood as a short midday rest. In modern sleep terms, it works best when it is short enough to improve alertness without stealing pressure from nighttime sleep.

For most people, 20 to 30 minutes is a useful power nap. It is long enough to reduce sleepiness but usually short enough to avoid waking from deep sleep.

A full 90-minute nap can also work when your night sleep was short, because it completes one cycle. Avoid long late-afternoon naps if they make it hard to fall asleep at night.
