Common Side Effects (Aam Nuksanat)
- Dry mouth
- Throat irritation
- Headache

Serious Side Effects (Sanjeedah Nuksanat)
- Paradoxical bronchospasm — see a doctor immediately
- Acute angle-closure glaucoma (from accidental eye contact) — see a doctor immediately

- Breathing suddenly gets worse right after using Atem
- Eye pain, blurred vision, or halos around lights after accidental eye contact
- Swelling of the face, lips, or throat, or difficulty breathing

- Don't use Atem Solution if you are allergic to Ipratropium Bromide or any ingredient
- Avoid letting the nebulised mist or solution contact the eyes; use caution if you have urinary retention or an enlarged prostate
