Clindamycin Gel Side Effects (Nuksanat)
Clindamycin Gel (Clindamycin Phosphate 1%) is generally well tolerated when applied correctly. However, like all medicines, it can cause side effects in some patients.
Common Side Effects (Aam Nuksanat)
- Skin dryness or peeling at the application site
- Mild burning or itching sensation
- Skin redness at the application site
These side effects are usually mild. If they continue, inform your doctor.
Serious Side Effects (Sanjeedah Nuksanat)
- Severe diarrhoea (possible antibiotic-associated colitis) — see a doctor immediately
- Severe allergic skin reaction — see a doctor immediately
- Abdominal cramps — see a doctor immediately
When to See a Doctor (Kab Doctor Se Milna Zaroori Hai)
- Severe or watery diarrhoea during or after treatment
- Signs of severe allergic reaction including rash, swelling, or difficulty breathing
- No improvement in the skin condition after the prescribed treatment course
Warnings and Precautions (Ihtiyat)
- Don't use Clindamycin Gel if you are allergic to clindamycin, lincomycin, or any ingredient
- Stop use immediately if severe diarrhoea develops and consult a doctor
