Diovan Side Effects (Nuksanat)
Diovan (Valsartan) is generally well tolerated when taken at the correct dose. However, like all medicines, it can cause side effects in some patients.
Common Side Effects (Aam Nuksanat)
- Dizziness
- Fatigue
- Headache
These side effects are usually mild. If they continue, inform your doctor.
Serious Side Effects (Sanjeedah Nuksanat)
- Angioedema (swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat with difficulty breathing) — see a doctor immediately
- Hyperkalemia (high potassium levels) — see a doctor immediately
- Kidney function decline — see a doctor immediately
When to See a Doctor (Kab Doctor Se Milna Zaroori Hai)
- Swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, or sudden difficulty breathing (seek emergency care immediately)
- Signs of high potassium such as muscle weakness, irregular heartbeat, or numbness/tingling
- Severe dizziness, fainting, or a significant drop in blood pressure
Warnings and Precautions (Ihtiyat)
- Don't use Diovan if you are allergic to Valsartan or any ingredient
- Do not use during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimester, due to the risk of serious harm to the unborn baby
