Epival Tablet Side Effects (Nuksanat)
Epival Tablet is generally safe at the correct dose, but side effects can occur.
Common Side Effects (Aam Nuksanat)
- Weight gain (Wazan barh jaana)
- Tremor (Haath kaapna)
- Nausea/vomiting (Matli/Qay)
- Hair loss
- Drowsiness (Neend)
Serious Side Effects (Sanjeedah Nuksanat)
- Hepatotoxicity — liver failure (rare but fatal — especially in young children) — see a doctor immediately
- Pancreatitis — see a doctor immediately
- Valproate-induced encephalopathy — see a doctor immediately
- Severe teratogenicity in pregnancy (foetal valproate syndrome) — see a doctor immediately
When to See a Doctor
- Severe allergic reaction (rash, breathing difficulty, swelling)
- If side effects last more than 2–3 days
