Best Time (Kab leni chahiye)
Morning is the preferred time for Concor. This provides 24-hour heart rate and blood pressure control during waking hours.
With Food or Empty Stomach
Can be taken either way. Consistency in timing is more important than food co-administration.
Missed Dose (Agar dose bhool jao)
Take as soon as remembered on the same day. If your next dose is close, skip the missed dose and continue normally. Do not double dose. Never stop abruptly.
CRITICAL: Never Stop Concor Suddenly
Abrupt withdrawal of bisoprolol causes:
- Rebound hypertension (blood pressure spike)
- Worsening or precipitated angina
- Risk of myocardial infarction in vulnerable patients
Always taper the dose under medical supervision over 1–2 weeks.
