Melatonin Tablet Dosage (Kitni leni hai)
Correct dosage and timing of Melatonin Tablet is important for safe and effective results. Always follow your doctor's prescription or the product label.
Adult Dose (Baalgon ke liye)
- 1mg to 5mg, 30–60 minutes before bedtime
- Start with the lowest effective dose (1–2mg)
- Do not exceed the recommended limit; higher doses do not necessarily improve sleep
- If you miss a dose, take it only if you still have time to sleep. If close to morning, skip it. Never take a double dose.
Starting Dose: 1–2mg at bedtime
Usual Dose: 1–5mg at bedtime, 30–60 minutes before sleep
Max Daily Dose: Do not exceed 10mg; most patients respond to 3–5mg
Child Dose (Bachon ke liye)
Not routinely recommended without medical supervision. If prescribed for a child, the dose is determined by the doctor based on age and condition.

With Food or Empty Stomach (Khali pait ya khane ke baad)
Melatonin Tablet can be taken with or without food. Taking it on a light stomach may help it take effect more quickly. Avoid alcohol and heavy meals around bedtime.
Missed Dose (Dose chhoot jaye to kya karein)
Take it as soon as you remember — only if you still plan to sleep for a reasonable amount of time. If it is close to your usual wake time, skip the dose entirely. Never take a double dose.
Overdose (Zyada Dose)
If you take more than the recommended dose, seek medical advice. An overdose of Melatonin Tablet can cause excessive drowsiness and confusion. Contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency room.
