Best Time to Take (Kab lena chahiye)

With Food or Empty Stomach (Khali pait ya khane ke baad)
Saxagliptin can be taken with or without food. Food intake does not significantly affect its absorption.
Missed Dose (Dose chhoot jaye to kya karein)
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember on the same day. If you do not remember until the next day, skip the missed dose entirely and resume the normal once-daily schedule. Do not take 2 doses in 1 day.
Overdose (Zyada Dose)
Saxagliptin alone does not typically cause hypoglycaemia. If combined with insulin or a sulphonylurea and you experience hypoglycaemia (sweating, trembling, confusion, rapid heartbeat), treat immediately with glucose and contact your doctor. If significant accidental overdose occurs, seek medical attention.
Dose Adjustment for Kidney Disease
