Telsarta Side Effects (Nuksanat)
Telsarta (Telmisartan) is generally safe when taken at the correct dose. However, like all medicines, it can cause side effects in some patients.
Common Side Effects (Aam Nuksanat)
- Dizziness
- Headache
- Back pain
These side effects are usually mild. If they continue, inform your doctor.
Serious Side Effects (Sanjeedah Nuksanat)
- Signs of angioedema (swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, or difficulty breathing) — see a doctor immediately
- Hyperkalemia (high potassium — muscle weakness, irregular heartbeat) — see a doctor immediately
- Significant drop in blood pressure (fainting, severe dizziness) — see a doctor immediately
When to See a Doctor (Kab Doctor Se Milna Zaroori Hai)
- Swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, or sudden difficulty breathing
- Muscle weakness, tingling, or an irregular heartbeat
- Fainting or severe dizziness, particularly after starting the medicine or a dose increase
Warnings and Precautions (Ihtiyat)
- Don't use Telsarta if you are allergic to Telmisartan or any ingredient
- Do not use during pregnancy — ARBs can cause fetal harm, especially in the second and third trimester
